But when we created Photo Fora, our goal was to create a platform to enable all photographers with the opportunity to access our expert reviewers for the letter's valuable insights.
And so, we created an alternate way for photographers such as yourself to still be able to showcase your practice to an international jury - with only one caveat, that your work is good enough to win a contest.
The Photo Fora Competition comes at a fraction of the cost of directly enrolling for the portfolio reviews. But its not just the lower price-point that is the highlight - the competition's winners will get their portfolio reviewed by 2 experts!
For many of you, portfolio reviewing might be new. To help you with the process, we have broken down the process into 4 steps that will guide you through each stage. We suggest that you read through each of these in detail to understand not only how the competition works but also to know the specifics in terms of activities, timelines, and costs involved.
As a participant in the competition, you will need to provide some mandatory information including your name, photograph, location, as well as contact information including a valid mobile number and email ID. All entries will be registered against this information.
You will be provided with the option to upload upto 3 images as your entry into the competition, a minimum of 1 image being compulsory. You will also need to provide a concept note in relation to the images you will be submitting as your entry.
Our reviewers are experts and their time is valuable. Therefore, for each competition entry a participation fee of ₹ 2500 will be charged. GST @ 18% will be applicable on the billable amount. You can complete the online payment through your preferred mode.
The Jury comprising of our experts will evaluate the competition entries and give them a rating The top 3 rated participants will be announced as winners. This announcement will be communicated to the participants via email and social media.
